高校学报载文特征对文献指标影响的量化研究——以《中国矿业大学学报》为例

摘要:

目的】提出用数学方法定量分析高校学报载文特征信息对其文献指标的影响,为优选稿件提供依据。【方法】以2005—2014年《中国矿业大学学报》载文特征信息和中信所、中国知网公布的期刊主要文献指标为样本,通过建立互信息(MI)对高校学报载文特征信息与高校学报文献指标的相关性进行定量分析;利用偏最小二乘(PLS)方法构建高校学报载文特征因子与文献指标的数学模型,然后引入MIV的计算策略,获得各载文因子对某文献指标MIV的累积贡献率(ACR)。【结果】高校学报载文学科因子的互信息MI值高于作者因子的互信息MI值,揭示优选学科方向是提升高校学报文献指标的关键;PLS模型能够准确地表达载文特征因子与文献指标之间的数学关系,与MIV策略相结合可有效评估载文特征因子对文献指标的影响。【结论】用基于互信息的直接分析方法和基于平均影响值模型评估的间接分析方法,有助于优选稿件以提升高校学报学术影响力。

Abstract:

[Purposes]To direct the selection of high-quality articles, the mathematicalmethod is applied to study the effect of published papers'characteristics on the bibliometric index.[Methods]By establishing the mutual information system,this paper quantitatively analyzed the correlation between characteristics of published articles excerpted from Journal of China University of Mining and Technolog y and the bibliometric index released by the Institute of Science and Technology Information of China(ISTIC) and China National Know ledge Internet(CNKI) from 2005 to 2014.The partial least squares method (PLS) was employed to construct themathematicalmodel between published articles'characteristic factors and the bibliometric index,then the mean impact value(M IV) computing strategy was introduced to acquire the accumulative contribution rate(ACR) of each factor.[Findings]The mutual information value of published articles'characteristic factors is higher than that of the author factor,indicating that the optim ization of discipline orientation is the key to improve the bibliometric index of university journals.The PLS model can accurately describe the mathematical relationship between published papers'characteristic factors and the bibliometric index.Combined w ith the M IV strategy,it can also effectively evaluate the impact of these factors on the documentary index.[Conclusions]The direct analysis based on mutual information and the indirect analysis based on the M IV evaluation model can facilitate the selection of high-quality papers and improve the academic influence of university journals.
