Abstract:
[Purposes] This paper aims to study the "academic+publishing" mode of English scientific journals, exploring pathways for developing high-quality journals, and providing references for the construction of first-class scientific journals. [Methods] Based on the development practice of Nano Materials Science, this paper analyzed the main connotation of the "academic+publishing" mode and discussed the main roles and responsibilities of "academics" and "publication", respectively. [Findings] The "academic" part of scientific journals relies on the academic team consisting of editor-in-chief and editorial board members, who guarantee the academic integrity of front-end content. The "publishing" part of scientific journals lies in the publishing team centered on the journal editors, who are responsible for the process management and backend impact enhancement. The combination of "academic" and "publishing" can ensure the quality of front-end content, standardization of processes, and amplification of backend impact for scientific journals. [Conclusions] The "academic+publishing" mode of scientific journals facilitates a synergistic interplay between "academic" and "publishing", fostering mutual reinforcement and collaborative advancement. This approach fortifies scientific journal development holistically, driving high-quality progression and the establishment of first-class scientific journals.

【目的】研究英文科技期刊“学术+出版”办刊模式,探索科技期刊高质量发展的思路,为一流科技期刊建设提供参考。【方法】以《纳米材料科学(英文)》的发展实践为切入点,分析“学术+出版”办刊模式的主要内涵,讨论“学术”与“出版”的主要分工和职责。【结果】科技期刊“学术”方面重点在于以主编、编委为核心的学术团队,控制学术质量,确保科技期刊前端的内容质量;“出版”方面关键在于以期刊编辑为中心的出版团队,负责期刊的过程管理及后端的影响力提升。“学术”与“出版”相结合,确保科技期刊前端的内容质量、过程的规范标准及后端的影响提升。【结论】科技期刊“学术+出版”办刊模式,可实现“学术”与“出版”之间优势互补、互助共进,形成办刊合力,提升期刊发展的整体性和协同性,从而推动期刊高质量发展和一流科技期刊建设。
