Abstract:

［Purposes］ This study aims to analyze the burst characteristics of burst words in academic journals and their relationship with journal influence through burst word detection, offering new insights for journal analysis and evaluation. ［Methods］ Taking 12 library and information science journals as an example, we extracted keywords from papers published from 2019 to 2023. We identified burst words in these journals based on the disorder and growth of the keywords. By analyzing the diversity, novelty, and growth characteristics of burst words, we explored the relationship between burst characteristics of burst words and journal influence through curve fitting and correlation analysis. ［Findings］ The diversity of burst words in library and information science exhibits a quadratic convex relationship with the journal ranking based on JMI. The novelty of burst words follows a logarithmic relationship with the comprehensive journal ranking, while the growth of burst words is negatively correlated with the journal influence. ［Conclusions］ Burst words in different disciplines and journals have distinct characteristics. The novelty of burst words can reflect a journal's academic influence. The timely and moderate use of burst words can help demonstrate a journal's research foresight and enhance its academic competitiveness and impact.

【目的】基于突发词检测分析学术期刊突发词的突发特征与期刊影响力之间的关系，可为期刊分析与评价提供新的思路。【方法】以12种图书情报学期刊为例，提取其2019—2023年的论文关键词，根据关键词的无序性和增长性检测12种期刊中的突发词；在分析期刊突发词的多样性、新颖性、增长性特征基础上，通过曲线拟合、相关分析探索期刊突发词的突发特征与期刊影响力之间的关系。【结果】图书情报学期刊突发词的多样性与基于量效指数的期刊排序呈二次凸函数关系，突发词的新颖性与期刊综合影响力排名呈对数函数关系；突发词的增长性与期刊影响力呈负相关。【结论】不同学科、不同期刊的突发词具有不同的突发特征，突发词的新颖性特征能够反映期刊的学术影响力。适时适度地引入突发词有助于彰显学术期刊研究的前瞻性，提升其学术竞争力和影响力。
