Abstract:

[Purpose] This study investigates the factors 1imiting the impact factor grow th of Medica1University journa1s from the perspective of journa1deve1opment strategy.[Methodology] Based on the IF changes of four journa1s inc1uding medica1university journa1s, comprehensivemedica1 journa1s, basic medica1 journa1s and c1inica1medica1 journa1s reported by “Chinese S&T Journa1 Citation Reports（Core Version）2010-2013” together w ith pub1ication and citation data of Journa1 of Third M i1itary Medica1 University in 2008-2013 and five Medica1University journa1s in 2014,this paper studies the factors decreasing the IF of Medica1 University journa1s.[Findings] The basic research papers are pub1ished in 1arge numbers but w ith 1ow citation rate.Overstrengthening on Science Citation Index and providingmore space for specia1 reports 1ead to 1ow IF of Medica1University journa1s.[Conclusions] In order to improve the IF,editors of the Medica1 University journa1s shou1d fu11y understand the citation characteristics of the pub1ished papers,and shou1d be encouraged to contact w ith c1inica1 departments to provide persona1ized services.

摘要： 目的 从办刊策略的角度探讨医科大学学报影响因子增长受限的原因。方法 根据《中国科技期刊引证报告（核心版）》公布的医科大学学报、医学综合类期刊、基础医学类期刊、临床医学综合类期刊等4类期刊2010-2013年IF的变化情况,结合《第三军医大学学报》2008-2013年、5种医科大学学报2014年相关发文、被引数据,分析导致医科大学学报IF下降的影响因素。结果 基础研究论文发文量高而被引率低、“SCI热”的剧烈冲击以及较多版面用于专题报道等原因导致医科大学学报IF低下。结论 为提升IF,医科大学学报应充分了解发文的引用属性、鼓励编辑走进科室、做好论文推送及个性化服务等。
