摘要： 根据质量变异的概念，指出科技期刊稿件编辑出版过程中也会出现质量变异，并对这些质量变异进行了总结分析。在对科技期刊稿件编辑出版进行过程分析的基础上，指出科技期刊具备进行过程控制的条件，因此可以对科技期刊稿件的刊出质量进行控制，最后提出了过程控制的内容及措施。
