Abstract: This paper presents a preliminary approach to contents，significance of methodology and theoretical basisof stressing the main points in sci-tech editing as well as their practical application to editing activities.Theway of stressimg the main points in sci-tech editing embodies such links as selecting titles，solicitingcontributions,going over manusripts, polishing articles, publishing and administration．Applying all theabove links rationally will surely be of great value to the raising of working efficiency.
