A media-based platform for health and medicine professionals: Cloud Classroom of Pharmaceutical Administration

基于媒体融合发展服务行业群体——“药政云课堂”平台开发与实践

Abstract:

[Purposes] This paper aims to introduce the development and practices of a China Pharmacy-based continuing education platform—Cloud Classroom of Pharmaceutical Administration, which is expected to serve as a reference for combining traditional publishing with digital service and further developing and utilizing the professional resources of scientific journals to serve professionals of different industries. [Methods] This paper described the development background and process and login and usage of the platform, evaluated the running effect, and thereby put forward suggestions for the media convergence of scientific journals. [Findings] The platform was first established in 2014, then revised in 2016, and further upgraded and named as Cloud Classroom of Pharmaceutical Administration in 2019. It provides educational resources for the echelon talent construction of regional medical institutions and a convenient and cost-effective independent learning approach for pharmaceutical professionals, enhances the understanding of experts, expands expert team, and improves the brand effect of journals with China Pharmacy as the core. At present, the platform has released a total of 71 training course videos, with about 56000 trainees registered with real identities, a total of 4.76 million views of the videos, and more than 1200 registered medical institutions. We suggest scientific journals should make full use of the academic resources in traditional publishing to offer services for related industries, enhance the cooperation with experts to realize a win-win situation, establish a professional “Internet+” editorial team, and seek policy support from related departments, for media convergence. [Conclusions] The Cloud Classroom of Pharmaceutical Administration platform, integrating traditional journal publishing and digital service, can help improve the competency of medical and health workers.

【目的】 介绍依托《中国药房》杂志资源搭建的“药政云课堂”继续教育平台的开发与实践经验,为促进科技期刊传统出版与数字化服务的深度融合,深入开发利用科技期刊专业资源、服务行业群体提供参考。【方法】 对“药政云课堂”平台的开发背景、研发历程、登录和使用方式进行介绍,评价其运行效果,并提出对科技期刊媒体融合发展的启示。【结果】 该平台项目自2014年萌芽,到2016年改版,再到2019年全新升级建成,已为区域医疗机构人才梯队建设搭建重要的教育资源平台,为药学类专业人员提供便捷、成本低廉的自主学习途径,加深杂志方对专家的了解、扩大专家队伍,提升以《中国药房》杂志为核心的品牌效益。目前,该平台共计发布71个培训课程视频,实名注册参培学员约5.6万人,视频总阅览数突破476万人次,注册医疗机构达1200多家。建议科技期刊通过利用传统出版学术资源、深挖行业服务潜力,加强与专家合作、实现科技期刊与专家的双赢,打造专业的“互联网+”编辑团队,获取行业主管部门的政策性支持等途径开展媒体融合建设。【结论】 “药政云课堂”平台作为传统期刊出版与数字化服务相结合的实例,有利于促进医药卫生工作者提升服务技术水平。
