Abstract:

[Purposes] This paper aims to summarize the experiences of practice of "COVID-19 prevention and control column" in Chinese Journal of Clinical Medicine, in order to provide references for the promotion of academic influence of general clinical medical journals and the construction of world-class scientific journals. [Methods] After the outbreak of COVID-19, Chinese Journal of Clinical Medicine had lost no time in planning and soliciting contributions of COVID-19 prevention and control column relying on the advantages of platform to create characteristic anti-epidemic column. A number of measures had been taken including system guarantee, target author tracking, optimization of review process, and improvement of editing and publishing process to ensure the publication of this column. [Findings] After 1 month of joint efforts, the first special column on prevention and control of COVID-19 was successfully published, including a total of 9 papers with more than 85000 words, involving the frontiers and hotspots of epidemic prevention and control research. After publication, the column achieved positive brand effects and academic impact. As of August 20, 2020, the download frequency of a single paper on CNKI reached the highest record in the journal, 6293 times. The highest citation frequency of a single paper was 49 times, and the average citation frequency was 17.44 times. The highest volume appeared in page views and click-through rate in WeChat and Official website, with the number 10862 and 7090 times, respectively. After online publication, nearly 200 papers had been submitted to Chinese Journal of Clinical Medicine, resulting in clustering effect and good social benefits. [Conclusions] Facing public health emergencies, general clinical medical journals should actively plan and organize special columns relying on the advantages of the platforms, which can not only reflect the social value and responsibility of the journals, but also effectively enhance the academic influence of the journals.

【目的】 总结《中国临床医学》首期“新冠肺炎防控专栏”成功组稿实践经验,为临床医学综合类期刊学术影响力提升及世界一流科技期刊建设提供参考。【方法】 新冠肺炎疫情暴发后,《中国临床医学》依靠杂志临床特色及平台优势,迅速制定策划方案,启动“新冠肺炎防控专栏”组稿工作,并采取制度保障、目标作者追踪、审稿流程优化、编辑出版流程改进等措施确保优质稿源及专栏顺利出版。【结果】 经过1个月的共同努力,首期“新冠肺炎防控专栏”顺利出版,共包括9篇论文,8.5万余字,涉及疫情防控研究的前沿和热点。专栏论文优先出版后,获得较好的品牌效应及学术影响:截至2020年8月20日,单篇论文在中国知网下载量创杂志最高纪录,达6293次;单篇论文最高被引49次,篇均被引17.44次;杂志官微平台单篇论文浏览量达10862次,杂志官网平台单篇浏览7090次,均创杂志最高纪录;专栏论文刊出后吸引全国各地投稿近200篇,取得较好的集群效应及社会效益。【结论】 面对突发公共卫生事件,临床医学综合类期刊应依托期刊平台优势主动作为,积极策划组织特色专栏,既能体现期刊的社会价值及责任担当,又可有效提升期刊学术影响力。
