Abstract:

[Purposes] This paper aims to analyze the English scientific journals selected by the Excellence Action Plan of China STM Journals, and put forward some suggestions on the development of China's scientific journals. [Methods] Using the Web of Science database and the Journal Citation Reports (JCR) in 2018, the index data of selected journals were summarized, and the advantages and disadvantages of different journals were discussed. [Findings] The overall influence of the selected English journals is still relatively low, and the hierarchical division is obvious. The leading journals have high impact factors but small literature capacity. The key journals and echeloned journals are of moderate scale, but their impact factors are relatively low. [Conclusions] There is still a gap between the performance of the selected English journals and that of the world-class scientific journals. It is necessary to accelerate the pace of development under the overall layout of the country, such as the creation of new journals, the construction of publishing platforms, and the cultivation of first-class talents.

【目的】 分析入选“中国科技期刊卓越行动计划”(以下简称“卓越行动计划”)的英文科技期刊,给出我国英文期刊的发展建议。【方法】 利用Web of Science数据库和2018年度《期刊引证报告》,归纳总结“卓越行动计划”入选期刊各项指标数据,探讨各类期刊的优势与不足。【结果】 入选英文期刊整体影响力仍较低,且层次划分较为明显,领军期刊影响因子高但载文量小,重点期刊与梯队期刊规模适中但影响因子偏低。【结论】 “卓越行动计划”入选英文期刊层次特征清晰,但现有影响力指标表现与世界一流科技期刊尚有距离,需要在新刊创建、出版平台建设、一流人才培育等国家总体布局下加快发展步伐。
