Abstract:

[Purposes] By analyzing the macro-structure and interpersonal functions of research article introductions in agricultural scientific journals, the study aims to provide references for improving the international recognition of English scientific journals in China. [Methods] We analyzed the introductions of 72 agricultural research articles selected from 2012 to 2015 in SCI database based on the CARS and MOM models. [Findings] Macro-structures of agricultural article introductions advance in the pattern of acquiring the identity from readers, attracting readers' attention, and guiding the readers to the main part of the articles, and the first pattern is a key position for interaction between writers and readers. The interpersonal functions such as writers' modesty, respect showing and undue authority avoiding for their readers are realized with the combination of introductory and interactive elements. [Conclusions] The introduction writing of technical journals in China has some problems and there are few researches related to introduction writing, which is not conducive to the promotion of academic propaganda. It is of great theoretical and practical significance to promote the prosperity and development of the technical journals in China by means of making suggestions for improvement.

【目的】 分析农业科技期刊英文论文引言宏观结构和人际功能,为提升我国英文科技期刊的国际认可度提供参考。【方法】 基于构建学术工作空间模型(CARS)和元话语模型(MOM),对6种SCI收录农业科技期刊2012—2015年间72篇论文引言进行分析。【结果】 引言宏观结构大都以“获取读者认同-吸引读者关注-引入论文主体”的方式推进,且“提出某领域论题”是作者与读者开展人际协商的关键位置。人际功能的完善则得益于引导式元话语和互动式元话语的结合。【结论】 国内作者在农业科技论文英文引言写作中存在诸多问题,且相关研究较少,不利于我国英文科技期刊学术传播力的提升,据此提出改进建议,对我国英文科技期刊发展具有重要理论价值和实践意义。
