Abstract:

[Purposes] Though the characteristic analyses of the non-cited articles in Chinese core academic journals of geography,this paper is to provide references for topic and manuscript selection of the geographical journals to improve their quality.[Methods] Based on the non-cited articles in 16 core journals published from 2009 to 2010,these articles'related text information,such as authors,subjectmatters,funds and paper characteristics,was all taken into consideration.[Findings] 1） The rate of the non-cited paper is1.79%.2）most authors are doctoral students and the non-cited papers from colleges or universities aremore than those from the institutes.3） of these,funded papers are more than non-funded papers.4）Most papers have less 6 pages.5）information in the abstract is incomplete to some extent.6） most subjects are mainly about astronomy,earth science,econom ics and agricultural sciences.[Conclusions] For sponsors,researchers and science and technology evaluation institutes to participate in reducing or avoiding none-cited papers.

摘要：

【目的】通过分析国内地理学中文核心期刊的零被引论文特征,为地理学科技期刊选题策划、稿源筛选、提高影响力提供参考。【方法】以4次入选《中文核心期刊要目总览》的16家地理学期刊作为研究对象,分析其2009—2010年零被引论文的期刊分布、作者、基金资助、页数、摘要、学科和类型等的特征。【结果】所统计期刊论文零被引率较低,仅为1.79%;作者中学生占比较大,以博士为主,高等院校占比大于研究所;基金资助论文占比大于无基金资助;论文页数大部分＜6页;摘要信息存在不同程度的缺失;学科分布上以天文学、地球科学、经济学、农业科学等为主。【结论】减少或者避免零被引论文需要期刊主办者、科研工作者、科研评价机构等的参与。
