Abstract:

[Purposes] This paper aims at studying the funding information of F5000 papers in agricultural science during 2012-2014 to provide a basis for editors soliciting contributions.[Methods] A total of 829 F5000 papers in agricultural science during 2012-2014 were selected and the number of citations per paper, the names of funding agencies, and other information were summarized.The projects were divided into four levels, including national, provincial or m inisterial, below provincial or m inisterial, and Sino-foreign cooperative projects.Then, the relationships between these papers and the number of projects at different levelswere analyzed.[Findings]The foundation-sponsored papers accounted for 97.10%of 829 papers.Papers funded by national and provincial orm inisterial projects accounted for61.88%and 62.85%.About78.05%of 829 paperswere funded by 1-3 foundations.Citation of each paper decreased w ith the increase of foundation numbers.The number of papers Received no foundation support or Sino-foreign cooperative support were less, but their average citations were as high as 70.13 and 67.00,respectively.[Conclusions] During soliciting contributions and initial review ing, editors should pay attention to papers funded by national, provincial or ministerial and Sino-foreign cooperative projects.Meanwhile, editors should abandon the prejudice that papers w ith more foundation supports have higher quality.

【目的】分析2012—2014年F5000农业科学类论文的基金资助情况,为农业期刊编辑的组稿、约稿提供参考。【方法】筛选并完善2012—2014年入选F5000的829篇农业科学类论文的被引频次、基金项目名称等信息,利用Excel对论文与基金级别、基金数量的关系进行分析。【结果】829篇论文的基金论文比为97.10%,其中有61.88%和62.85%的论文分别得到国家级、省部级基金资助,有78.05%的论文获得1~3项基金资助,论文篇均被引频次随获助基金数量增加而降低;中外合作项目和无基金资助的论文入选数量较少,但这两类论文的篇均被引频次却高达67.00和70.13。【结论】编辑在组稿、约稿时应关注获得国家级、省部级和中外合作项目资助的研究课题,并且应摒弃基金数量越多论文质量越优的偏见。
