Abstract:

[Purposes] Laboratory animals are commonly used in life science, aerospace, marine, primary prevention, antichem icalwarfare and other special areas of scientific research.The description of scientific papers based on animal experiments need to be specified to ensure the results of scientificity and repeatability.[Methods] Through literature search,web browsing, and other methods,we investigated more than 40 kinds of domestic and foreign scientific journals for the requirements of laboratory animal descriptions.[Findings] Laboratory animals descriptions by foreign SCI journals require closely related to the characteristics of the journal content.While in China,requirements of the journals for laboratory animals are described relatively uniform,or for just a simple copy w ithout specification.This paper suggests the scientific journals should require the description of laboratory animals as the foreign scientific journals.[Conclusions] The journals need propose the requirement of laboratory animals based on their characteristics and w ritten subm ission guidelines, and make it easy to read for the author before their subm ission.In this paper, we study and put forward the scientific paper description requirement of laboratory animals in specification,hoping that the harmonization of the description of laboratory animals in the scientific papers w ill improve the quality of scientific papers.

【目的】规范生命科学研究领域及航天、航海、防原、防化等特殊领域的科学研究中,科研论文涉及实验动物科学描述规范,以保证结果的科学性和可重复性。【方法】通过文献检索、网站浏览等方式调查了40多种国内外科技期刊投稿指南中对实验动物描述的要求。【结果】国外SCI期刊对实验动物描述要求跟期刊特色密切相关,差异较大,且具有针对性。我国期刊对实验动物描述的要求相对统一,多为简单照搬,实用性不强。提出了科技论文中实验动物描述规范。【结论】各相关期刊应根据各自专业特色,把对实验动物描述的有关要求写入投稿指南,便于作者在投稿前阅读并进行符合科学的实验设计。
