Abstract:

[Purposes] This paper aims at studying on the advantages and disadvantages of the absence of chief editors in position of university journals,and draw ing greater attention of the department in charge of university journals on the“chief editor in charge”system,so as to improve the quality of the journal.[Methods]Given the practical situation of Chinese university leaders sharing chief editors of university journals,the advantages and disadvantages are analyzed by the random survey,telephone interview and document arrangement,then countermeasures are given.[Findings]School leaders shouldermany survival and development tasks of a school,and are unable to practice the“chief editor in charge” system;to a certain extent,it restricts the development and quality improvement of university journals.Therefore,suggestions are given to the“chief editor in charge” system or appoint executive editors as soon as possible.[Conclusions] With the implementation of the“chief editor in charge” system or the appointment of executive editors,journals of colleges and universities are hoped to w in more and better development space.

【目的】研究高校学报主编在位缺失的利弊,以引起高校学报主管单位对落实学报“主编负责制”的重视,提高学报质量。【方法】结合我国高校领导兼任学报主编的现实情况,采用随机调查、电话访谈、文献整理等方法,分析高校领导兼任学报主编的利弊,提出相应的对策建议。【结果】校领导肩负着事关学校生存发展的诸多大事,大多无法躬行“主编负责制”,在一定程度上制约了高校学报的发展和办刊质量的提升。对此,高校学报可以实行主编实职制或设立执行主编。【结论】实行主编实职制或设立执行主编,高校学报能够赢得更多更好的发展空间。
