专刊主题选取对提升期刊学术质量的影响—— 以Acta Mechanica Sinica专刊出版为例

Academ ic influence of topic selection on im proving the special issue's quality in scientific journals

摘要: 目的 分析专刊主题的选取对提升期刊学术质量的影响,为推动科技期刊的国际影响力提供参考。方法 以2010-2012年Acta Mechanica Sinica(《力学学报》英文版)出版的专刊为例,对比纪念活动选题专刊和学术会议选题专刊文章的被引频次和零引用率。结果 纪念活动选题专刊的被引频次普遍高于常规投稿文章,零引用率低于常规投稿文章,学术会议选题专刊文章则相反。结论 充分利用期刊或学科相关的各类重大纪念活动的机遇,精心策划、积极组织学术专刊,提升刊物的学术质量和国际影响力。

Abstract:

[Purpose] To i11ustrate the effectof the specia1issue's topic se1ection on the improvement of journa1s'academic qua1ity.We expect the methods w i11 improve the qua1ity of scientific journa1s and provide necessary references for enhancing scientific journa1s'internationa1 inf1uence.[Methodology] Taking the specia1issue pub1ished on Acta Mechanica Sinica from 2010-2012 as an examp1e,we ana1yze the citation and 0 cited rate of the artic1es onmemoria1and conference specia1issues.[Findings] The citation of the artic1es onmemoria1specia1issues is genera11y higher than that of the regu1ar artic1es,and the 0 cited rate 1ower than that of the regu1ar artic1es,but conference specia1 artic1es are on the contrary.[Conclusions] It's a usefu1method to app1y the major commemorations re1ated to journa1s or subjects, make e1aborate p1ans, and active1y organize the academ ic specia1 issues for enhancing the journa1academ ic and internationa1inf1uence.
