Audiovisual content construction of international academic journals and enlightenments to China

摘要:

【目的】 探讨我国学术期刊视听内容建设的有效路径,助力我国学术期刊提升影响力。【方法】 对国际学术期刊的视听内容建设情况进行调研,根据目标功能对现有的视听内容进行分类,并运用个案研究法深入分析各类视听内容的特征。【结果】 国际学术期刊的视听内容类型主要包括内容增强型、视听摘要型、科普展示型三类,视听内容建设对于提升学术期刊的内容传播效果、学术影响力和社会影响力均具有重要意义。【结论】 借鉴国际学术期刊视听内容建设的经验,建议中国学术出版单位集中多方力量提升视听内容的生产力,注重内容呈现的细节设计和用户体验,并利用多渠道助力学术成果的传播。

Abstract:

[Purposes] This paper aims to explore an effective way for audiovisual content construction of Chinese academic journals, which is expected to enhance both their academic and social influence. [Methods] We investigated the audiovisual content of international academic journals which was classified by functions. With the case study method, we analyzed the characteristics of various types of audiovisual content. [Findings] The audiovisual content of international academic journals is mainly the enhanced publication, audiovisual abstracts, and popular science. Audiovisual content construction can improve the effect of science communication and influence of academic journals. [Conclusions] Drawing on the experience of international academic journals, Chinese academic journals should unite with relevant departments to enhance audiovisual content production, emphasize detailed design of content presentation and user experience, and take advantages of multiple channels to strengthen the dissemination of academic outcomes.
