[Purposes] This paper systematically introduces the features of DPaper (a paper-structuring tool for semantic publishing) and Arpha Writing Tool (AWT, a tool for paper writing, commenting, peer review, etc.) as well as the writing standards of HTML documents, which is expected to serve as a reference for standardizing HTML scientific papers in China. [Methods] Through literature research, website survey, and comparative analysis, we summarized the writing standards of different types of papers for HTML display on AWT and DPaper. [Findings] DPaper offers 2 online writing templates with standardized fonts, while AWT provides 59 templates, with different specific requirements for different types of papers. [Conclusions] At present, no standard stylistic rules and layout is available in China for HTML scientific papers. We should improve data description and structured display of abstract, and formulate writing standards for HTML papers on different disciplines and of different categories, thereby standardizing and simplifying the writing of scientific papers.

[Purposes] This paper analyzes the standards for scientific journals in China and abroad in recent years and summarizes the problems in the national standards of China. [Methods] The standards for journals released by authoritative institutions in China and abroad from 2010 to 2021 were retrieved and problems of the current national standards in China were expounded. On this basis, suggestions were put forward. [Findings] International standards tend to be detailed, professional, efficient, and targeted, while the Chinese standards fail to be targeted, keep pace with the times, be well implemented, be unified, and Chinese language-specific. In light of the above problems, efforts should be made to strengthen top-level design and integrate and update current standards for the development of scientific journals-specific national standards. [Conclusions] Compared with international standards, the current standards for scientific journals in China should be further detailed and improved, for which a great deal of basic work is needed.

[Purposes] This paper aims to investigate and analyze the factors influencing the implementation of recommended national standards (hereinafter referred to as the standards) in academic journals and put forward countermeasures. [Methods] On the basis of the theory of planned behavior, this paper used the interview method to interview six managers of academic journals from three dimensions: attitude, subjective norm, and perceived behavioral control. [Findings] Attitude of academic journal managers towards the standards, mandatory norms of government departments and industry associations, and exemplary norms of famous academic journals play a great part in promoting the editors to strictly implement the standards. Practicality, implementation difficulty, and availability are the factors affecting the implementation of the standards. [Conclusions] Suggestions for promoting the implementation of the standards in academic journals are as follows: raising the awareness of academic journal managers on the implementation of the standards, changing their attitude, stepping up the external pressure such as mandatory norms and demonstrative norms, providing favorable policy resources and supporting measures, and making the standards more practical and easy to implement.

【目的】分析我国期刊执行GB/T 9999.1—2018《中国标准连续出版物号 第1部分:CN》和GB/T 9999.2—2018《中国标准连续出版物号 第2部分:ISSN》(以下合称GB/T 9999—2018)中存在的问题,并对GB/T 9999—2018有关期刊的部分内容进行解读,为期刊更好地执行国家标准提供参考。【方法】2019年12月,采用抽样统计方法,随机选取某图书馆订阅的2019年10—12月出版的900余种期刊中的110种,对封一、题名页、版权页(块)、目次页、封四等执行GB/T 9999—2018的情况进行查看与统计分析。【结果】随机选取的110种期刊大部分存在执行GB/T 9999—2018标准不规范问题。【结论】期刊出版单位对GB/T 9999—2018学习贯彻不够,期刊出版管理部门在期刊审读与评比中注意检查GB/T 9999—2018标准的执行情况,督促期刊出版单位严格执行国家标准。

[Purposes] This paper aims to study the mechanism of scientific journals in electronic document storage and transformation, in order to provide tools for the format processing and automatic conversion, and to enhance the international influence of scientific journals in China. [Methods] Taking Journal Archiving Tag Suite (JATS) standard as an example, we explored the archive format followed by foreign medical journals. And the resource storage of domestic electronic journals has also been discussed. [Findings] Based on JATS standard, we have developed a method for journal resource format processing and translation, and a system has also been developed to assist automatic conversion of unstructured documents to structured documents. [Conclusions] The resource storage format of scientific journals plays an important role in improving journal international influence. Formulation and tool development of format processing and transformation can give support to journal resource management and electronic document exchange.

[Purposes] This study aims to explore the necessity of establishing an access criteria of specialty ability for medical, scientific and technological journal editors, as well as to put forward a certain access criteria. [Methods] In combination with the absence of access criteria pointing at specialty ability for medical, scientific and technological journal editors, we analyzed the necessity to establish a certain access criteria and put forward an access criteria for medical journal editors, and presented some relationships that need dealing with for implementing the criteria. [Findings] It is of great importance for medical journals to establish an editor access criteria of specialty ability. We propose a specific editor access criteria of specialty ability based on medical knowledge structure, clinical experience, and scientific research quantification. [Conclusions] The medical journals should establish an editor access criteria based on specialty ability to adapt for the discipline which is suitable for the discipline innovative development of medical research, to optimize the editor talent structure, and to promote the sustainable development of journals.

[Purposes] The papermakes a discussion on the rule that Standard Number is substituted for Other Title Information in GB/T 7714 —2015.[Methods] The irrationality of the new rule is demonstrated logically.Compared w ith domestic and foreign standards, the potential adverse effects have been analyzed in this paper.[Findings] There is am ismatch between the new rule and international standards and traditions, probably leading to the m isunderstanding and high implementation costs.[Conclusions] Suggestions are given that Standard Number isw ritten as Title Name and the previous format is reverted, that is, Standard Number Standard Name.

[Purposes] The objective of this paper is to promote the further improvement and implementation of the new standard,and help readers to grasp and implement the new standard.[Methods] By comparing the GB/T 7714—2015 Information and Documentation-Rules for Bibliographic References and Citations to Information Resources（new standard） and GB/T 7714—2005 Rules for Content, Form and Structure of Bibliographic References（old standard）, this paper analyzes the sim ilarities and differences between the two, mainly focusing on the revision of the new standard compared w ith that of the previous version, and gives an objective evaluation of the new standard.[Findings] On the basis of inheriting the old standard, many articles have been revised,adjusted and supplemented by the new standard in order to conform to the times development.The new standard is generally successful, but it is not perfect, because there are some doubts.[Conclusions] Against these doubts of the new standard,revision suggestions are given.It is hoped that this paperwill provide a reference for the revision of the new standard in the future,and promote the standardization of the bibliographic references and citations constantly.

[Purposes] This paper introduced JATS,which defines a set of XML elements and attributes for tagging journal articles and describes three article models.The JATSas a standard enables full-text article management and exchanges.[Methods] Three tag sets in JATSwere compared under different scenarios. [Findings] Publishers,databases,libraries,and authors can select one kind of JATS for document conversion,storage and management.We successfully applied JATS to standardize and manage full-text journal articles in Chinese.In addition,it supports full-text reading,personalized tagging and keyword searching.[Conclusions] According to different application scenarios,JATS has three types of tags.The management of full text and medical encyclopedia knowledge based on JATS provides feasibility for its localization use.

[Purpose] This study introduces Chinese Medica1Association Journa1Artic1e Tag Set（CMA JATS 0.1）, an e1ectronic document exchange and storage standard for Chinese STM periodica1s and its practice.[Methodology] Based on the Chinese Medica1Association Pub1ishing House journa1s, we create an e1ectronic documentexchange and storage standard （CMA JATS 0.1）and put it into practice.[Findings] In October 2014,Chinese Medica1Association Pub1ishing House 1aunched the first edition standard for fu11-text tags-CMA JATS 0.1.Using this standard,we successfu11y guide data processors to product XML documents and p1atform deve1opers to parse these documents to disp1ay on our websites.Up to now,more than 15 periodica1s have used CMA JATS 0.1 to create fu11-text data for current issues,which can be quick1y re1eased on1ine.[Conclusions] CMA JATS 0.1 cou1d effective1y integrate Chinese Medica1Association's periodica1 resources,and promote the deve1opment of CMA digita1 pub1ishing.However,an eco1ogica1 chain based on this standard needs companies to work together.

[Purpose] Strengthening themanagementof sci-tech periodical quality and interpretation of the quality control standard of Chinese Medical Association journal.[Methodology] The core content of quality control standards about review ing,redaction and publishing for the Publishing House of Chinese Medical Association were interpretated.As a case study of the Chinese Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology,detailed analysis was carried out on the academic and editing processing quality control.[Findings] Sci-tech periodicalsmust adhere to science and technology ethics and THE national press and publication laws and regulations.Scitech periodicals should do peer review and 3 reriews（editorial department,peer-review and sem inar）5 discussions（editor,editor in charge,managing director,editor-in-chief,chief of the staff）as an importantmeans of strict academ ic quality;Sci-tech periodicals should implement editing specification into paper editing,typesetting process and checking after publication.[Conclusions] Peerreviewed and 3 reviews 5 discussions were effective guarantee to the academ ic quality of sci-tech periodicals,the strict editorial standard and the quality inspection after publication was of great significance.
