Practices of omnimedia publishing program for medical periodicals under the media convergence background

摘要:

【目的】 探索互联网时代媒介融合背景下医学科技期刊全媒体出版方案的具体举措,介绍《中华医学杂志(英文版)》(CMJ)实践情况。【方法】 对相关文献进行梳理,分析国内外网站情况及CMJ实践经验。【结果】 目前全媒体出版方案措施主要包括基于XML技术的网络发布及移动端出版、多媒体内容展现、优先数字出版、邮件推送及微平台发布,CMJ正实践上述方案。【结论】 医学科技期刊可结合自身情况,采取融合式全媒体出版方案;CMJ已初步实现全媒体出版,但仍需进行优化。

Abstract:

[Purposes] The specific measures of omnimedia publishing program on medical periodicals under the internet and media convergence background are explored, and the practice of Chinese Medical Journal (CMJ) is introduced. [Methods] The domestic and overseas journal websites and the experience of CMJ practices were analyzed by reviewing relevant literatures. [Findings] The omnimedia publishing measures mainly include the internet publishing and mobile publishing based on XML technology, multimedia content, online first, E-mail campaign and WeChat platform. CMJ has been implementing these measures. [Conclusions] Medical periodicals can adopt an integrated omnimedia publishing program which is suitable for their own development. The CMJ has preliminarily implemented omnimedia publishing but some programs still need optimization.
