摘要:

【目的】 了解科技期刊编辑人员继续教育培训需求,为相关培训工作的有效开展提供借鉴和参考,为加强编辑人才队伍建设、推动我国科技期刊高质量发展贡献力量。【方法】 采用横断面研究法调查国内科技期刊编辑人员继续教育培训需求情况。【结果】 科技期刊编辑人员对继续教育培训持积极态度;参加继续教育的主要目的为了解行业发展动态,提升个人能力,学习新知识、新理论、新技术;期望的培训内容为期刊管理、编辑出版业务知识、期刊经营;期望的培训形式为培训班和专题讲座;期望的考核评价方式为综合考评。【结论】 继续教育是加强编辑人才队伍建设的重要途径和手段,各级管理部门应予以重视,加强顶层设计,创新培训模式与培训机制,丰富培训内容与培训形式,最大限度满足编辑人员的多元化培训需求;进一步完善考核评价体系和质量控制体系,提升培训质量,助力我国建设世界一流科技期刊。

Abstract:

[Purposes] This paper explores the continuing education requirements of editorial staff of scientific journals in China, which is expected to enhance the effective training of editorial staff, improve the competence of editorial team, and promote the high-quality development of scientific journals in China. [Methods] The cross-sectional study was adopted for investigating the continuing education requirements of editorial staff of scientific journals in China. [Findings] Editorial staff had a positive attitude towards continuing education and they participated in continuing education for the purposes of gaining an insight into industry development trend, improving competence, and learning new knowledge, theories, and techniques. They wanted to be trained of journal management and operation and professional knowledge of editing and publishing in the forms of training courses or lectures on special topics and preferred comprehensive evaluation. [Conclusions] Continuing education is an essential means to cultivate qualified and specialized editorial team. Thus, relevant authorities should strengthen top-level design, innovate training mode and mechanism, and enrich training content and forms, so as to meet the diversified requirements of editorial staff. Moreover, they should further improve the evaluation system and quality control system, thus ensuring the training quality and prompting the world-class scientific journal construction in China.
