医学期刊移动终端阅读服务问卷调查与实践探索——以《第三军医大学学报》为例

Questionnaire survey and practical exploration of mobile terminal reading serves in medical journals: Taking Journal of Third Military Medical University as an example

摘要:

【目的】通过对医学期刊核心受众群体进行问卷调查,了解用户的移动终端阅读需求和阅读体验,并利用《第三军医大学学报》平台尝试开展移动终端阅读服务。【方法】从《第三军医大学学报》投稿系统中选取2015年4月1日至2017年10月26日在本刊发表论文的在校医学研究生、医学院校科研工作者、医生以及医学院校教师共计325名,以网络问卷(问卷星)形式分别从调查对象的基本情况、阅读需求、阅读行为、阅读体验4个维度进行问卷调查。【结果】回收调查问卷325份,其中有效问卷325份,有效回收率为100%。结果显示:92.31%(300人)的受调查者愿意使用移动终端阅读医学期刊;医学期刊移动终端阅读普遍受欢迎,且更受20~40岁中青年读者以及医生的喜爱。《第三军医大学学报》尝试与数据库平台服务商合作开展移动出版服务,并借助微信公众号向核心读者群推送最新一期的论文全文、专题报道、手术视频、学术视频直播、临床科研设计讲座、科学快报和导读等内容。【结论】医学期刊出版单位有必要开展移动终端阅读服务。以单刊模式出版的国内多数医学期刊可借助数据库平台服务商及微信等平台提升传播能力,改善阅读体验,满足用户的阅读需求。

Abstract:

[Purposes] This study aims to survey the core readership of medical journals by questionnaire to understand the users' reading needs and reading experience of mobile terminals, and try to improve mobile terminal reading service in Journal of Third Military Medical University. [Methods] A total of 325 authors were selected from the manuscript online system of Journal of Third Military Medical University from April 1, 2015 to October 26, 2017, including the graduate students, scientific researchers, doctors, and teachers in medical colleges. A questionnaire survey was conducted from the basic situation, reading needs, reading behavior, and reading experience of the respondents in the form of network questionnaire (wjx.cn). [Findings] We collected 325 questionnaires, all of them are valid, and the valid recovery rate is 100%. The results show that 92.31% of 325 users are willing to use mobile terminals to read medical journals. Mobile reading is more popular among young and middle-aged readers at the age of 20-40 and doctors. Journal of Third Military Medical University is trying to cooperate with database platform service provider to carry out the mobile publishing service, to push the latest full papers, special reports, operation video, academic video live broadcast, and to push clinical research design lecture, science bulletin, and guide reading issued by WeChat official account to the core readers. [Conclusions] It is necessary for the medical journals to carry out the mobile terminal reading service. Most of medical journals published in single publication mode can enhance communication capacity, improve reading experience, and meet users' reading needs with the help of database platform providers and WeChat platform.
