摘要：

【目的】以Science China Chemistry（《中国科学：化学》,SCC）成立青年工作委员会为例,探讨发展中的期刊如何通过组建和运行青年工作委员会来创新编委会工作模式和提升期刊国际影响力。【方法】结合本刊经验介绍了青年工作委员会的遴选条件、组建流程和运行机制,并着重探讨青年工作委员在期刊审稿、组稿、宣传等方面的做法及作用。【结果】青年工作委员会成立近两年来,在加快期刊发展方面起到了非常重要的促进作用。【结论】组建青年工作委员会是激发编委会工作活力、提升期刊国际影响力的有效手段之一。

Abstract:

[Purposes]Taking Science China Chem istry as an example, this paper presents howa young scientists comm ittee is built as a newmodel of the editorial board,and its significant role in improving the journals'international impact.[Methods]The selecting standard methods,procedures and employment for the young scientists comm ittee were introduced and its relationship with the current editorial board were analyzed.The responsibilities and roles of the young scientists comm ittee in subm ittingmanuscripts,recommendation of authors and reviewer candidates, reviewing, and journal marketing were presented.[Findings]The young scientists comm ittee has played an important role in promoting the journals'development and international impact.[Conclusions]Launching the young scientists comm ittee is an effective approach to the promotion of scientific journals.
