结果 找出对它们起支配作用的潜在影响因素:公因子F1(平均影响力因子)和F2(整体影响力因子)。

Abstract:

[Purpose] To establish a formula of comprehensive evaluation indicator for scientific journals’citation w ith an attempt to offer some suggestions for comprehensive citation evaluation of scientific journals.[Methodology] We performed a factor analysis on the values of impact factor(IF),5-year impact factor(IF5),h index,SCImago journal rank(SJR),Eigenfactor score(ES)and source normalized impact per paper(SNIP)of 1881 medical journals from WoS and Scopus databases.[Findings] We extracted two potential factors(also named principle components)influencing the six indicator values:F1 named average impact factor and F2 named overall impact factor.A formula of comprehensive evaluation indicator was constructed by weighing the two factors.[Conclusions] W ith special and comprehensive journals as samples, the comprehensive indicator was proved empirically being able to elim inate the adverse effect of published document number on the evaluation of scientific journal impact.
