Multi-dimensional evaluation and idenpngication of high-impact journals under the background of breaking with the "five-only" tradition

摘要:

【目的】 探讨多维视角下高影响力期刊的识别与评价方法。【方法】 首先,在充分考虑期刊学术影响力的基础上,重点考虑国际同行认可度及国际高质量论文对期刊影响力的影响,构建基于期刊原生影响力、顶尖机构认同力和论文优秀力的三维评价体系;其次,考虑评价维度间的相关性和对比性,采用CRITIC方法确定权重;最后,充分考虑决策者意愿,利用VIKOR方法识别高影响力期刊。【结果】 所设计模型的评价结果与影响因子排名具有一定的相似性,但更能突显期刊的卓越性特征。【结论】 所设计的评价模型提供同行认可度和优秀论文的评价维度,弥补了传统指标仅从被引频次角度进行评价的不足,对高影响力期刊具有更高的敏感度和区分性。

Abstract:

[Purposes] This paper aims to discuss the idenpngication and evaluation methods of high-impact journals from multiple dimensions. [Methods] Firstly, on the basis of the academic influence of journals, this paper introduced the recognition from international top institutions and the proportion of international high-quality achievements and further established a three-dimensional evaluation system based on original influence, recognition from top institutions, and paper quality. Secondly, the CRITIC method, which takes the correlation and contrast intensity of indexes into consideration, was used to determine the weight of each dimension. Finally, the VIKOR method, providing a maximum group utility for the majority and a minimum of an individual regret for the opponent, was employed to idenpngy high-impact journals. [Findings] The resultant overall ranking of the proposed model was similar to that based on impact factor, but the former demonstrated the overall paper quality of journals. [Conclusions] Unlike the conventional evaluation method which only emphasizes cited frequency, the proposed evaluation model adds the recognition from top institutions and paper quality, which has higher sensitivity and differential ability.
