摘要： 目的 提出中国英文社科学术期刊国际化发展矛盾的破解对策,以提升中国英文社科学术期刊的国际影响力,建设具有“中国特色、中国风格、中国气派”的学术话语体系。方法 从期刊内容、发展规模、出版模式和管理体制4个方面入手,探讨中国英文社科学术期刊国际化发展的主要矛盾与内在关联,进而破解矛盾。结果 中国英文社科学术期刊国际化发展矛盾包括优质内容匮乏现实下的内容组织乏力、刊群规模快速增长态势下的发文规模萎缩、国际合作与自主发展博弈下的两难选择、政府制度性支持推动下的多重掣肘。结论 只有激活办刊力量、明晰期刊定位,整合出版资源、打造期刊品牌,拓展国际合作方式、探索国际化新模式,革新管理体制、加强政策引导,才能破解中国英文社科学术期刊国际化发展的诸多矛盾。

Abstract:

[Purposes] This paper aims to explore the existing internationalization development contradictions and countermeasures of China's English academic journals of social sciences(CEAJSS), so as to promote the international influence of CEAJSS, and build the academic discourse system with Chinese characteristics, Chinese style, and Chinese manner. [Methods] Starting with CEAJSS' content organization, development scale, publishing mode, and management system, this paper analyzed the main contradictions and their internal relations and proposed corresponding countermeasures. [Findings] The internationalization development of CEAJSS faces four contradictions in content organization, development scale, publishing mode, and management system. Content organization contradiction refers to CEAJSS being generally lack of high-quality content, but making few efforts in high quality content organization. Publishing scale contradiction means the total number of CEAJSS keeping increasing, while the number of papers published in CEAJSS keeping decreasing. Publishing mode contradiction refers to the choice dilemma of international cooperation mode and independent development mode for CEAJSS. Management system contradiction can be seen in both supportive and constrained activities performed by CEAJSS management institutes. [Conclusions] Only by activating the potential power of CEAJSS-running institutes, clarifying the positioning of CEAJSS, integrating publishing resources, building CEAJSS brands, exploring new internationalization modes, and reforming CEAJSS management system, can CEAJSS break the contradictions in the process of internationalization development.
