摘要:

【目的】 从差异性视角提出期刊区分度(Journal Discriminative Capacity,JDC)测算方法,并对期刊内容的差异性进行定量测算及分析,以探测不同期刊个体之间的区分性特征及不同学科期刊总体的差异化程度。【方法】 以2015—2017年SCI、SSCI、A&HCI收录期刊的题录信息为数据源,首先通过层次聚类和JDC测算对LIS学科23种期刊内容的差异性进行深入分析;然后通过计算不同学科的JDC并结合多维尺度降维分析法来探测学科间期刊的差异性特征,同时利用学科期刊个体的JDC均值来探讨不同学科期刊的差异性。【结果】 LIS学科期刊的区分性出现明显分层,图书馆类期刊的区分性最强,评价与评述类期刊的区分性最弱;不同学科期刊具有鲜明的学科性特征,SCI收录期刊的区分性最为显著,SSCI收录期刊次之,A&HCI收录期刊的区分性最弱。【结论】 在单学科中区分度越低的期刊,其综合性特征越显著;而在多学科中,理工类期刊的内容差异性更为显著,其学科特色较人文社科类期刊更为突出。

Abstract:

[Purposes] This paper proposes the journal discriminative capacity (JDC) method from the perspective of difference to quantitatively measure and analyze the discriminative capacity of journals, so as to detect the differentiation characteristics among journal individuals and the overall differentiation degree of journals in different disciplines. [Methods] Taking the SCI, SSCI, and A&HCI indexed journals published from 2015 to 2017 as the data source, the differences of 23 journal contents of LIS were analyzed in depth through hierarchical clustering and JDC measurement. Then, we calculated the JDC of journals in disciplines and combined multi-dimensional scaling analysis to detect the differentiation characteristics of interdisciplinary journals, and used the mean value of JDC of journals to explore the differences of disciplines. [Findings] The discriminative capacity of journals in LIS is obviously stratified, the journals in the field of library science are the most discriminating, and the journals in the field of evaluation and review are the weakest. The journals in different disciplines have distinct disciplinary characteristics; the discriminative capacity of SCI journals is most notable, followed by SSCI journals, and the discriminative capacity of A&HCI journals is the weakest. [Conclusions] The lower the degree of discriminative capacity in a single discipline, the more significant is the comprehensive characteristics of journals. However, the content difference of science and engineering journals is significant among the multi-disciplines, and their subject characteristics are more prominent than those of humanities and social sciences.
