国内外眼科学、数学和环境科学期刊被引半衰期的比较

Comparison of cited half-life between domestic and foreign journals of ophthalmology, mathematics, and environmental science

摘要:

【目的】 比较国内外眼科学、数学和环境科学期刊被引半衰期的差异,为期刊编辑今后制定工作策略提供参考。【方法】 选择国内外眼科学、数学和环境科学期刊各10种,收集期刊的被引半衰期以及其他期刊评价指标,比较国内外相同学科期刊被引半衰期的差异;采用Spearman 相关分析法,对国内外眼科学、数学、环境科学期刊被引半衰期与其他文献计量学指标的相关性进行分析。【结果】 我国眼科学和环境科学期刊被引半衰期均短于国外相同学科期刊,我国大多数数学期刊被引半衰期长于国外数学类期刊。我国眼科学期刊被引半衰期与引用半衰期呈正相关,环境科学期刊被引半衰期与平均引文数呈正相关;国外3个学科期刊被引半衰期均与引用半衰期呈正相关(P均小于0.05)。【结论】 我国眼科学和环境科学期刊编辑今后首要任务是提升期刊国内显示度和持久影响力,数学期刊则需提升国际显示度和影响力。

Abstract:

[Purposes] In order to provide reference for future editorial work, cited half-life differences between domestic and foreign journals in the ophthalmology, mathematics and environmental science fields are compared. [Methods] The cited half-life and other evaluation indexes of 10 journals in each discipline were collected, and the differences of cited half-life in same discipline between domestic and foreign journals were compared. The correlations among cited half-life and other bibliometric indicators of domestic and foreign journals in the ophthalmology, mathematics and environmental science fields were analyzed by Spearman correlational analysis method. [Findings] The cited half-life of Chinese journals of ophthalmology and environmental science is shorter than that of foreign journals, and the cited half-life of Chinese mathematics journals is longer than that of foreign ones. The cited half-life of Chinese ophthalmology journals is positively correlated with citing half-life. The cited half-life of the environmental science journals in China is positively related to the average citations. The cited half-life of journals in three subjects of foreign countries is positively related to the citing half-life. [Conclusions] The primary task for Chinese journals of ophthalmology and environmental science is to increase the domestic visibility and impact endurance. For mathematical journals, the task is to increase the international visibility and impact.
